Adaptive Riding

Saddle Up!’s longest running program, Adaptive Riding, offers summer riding lessons to participants already enrolled in the regular program as well as those on our waiting list. Summer lessons provide your child with a fun sport that includes benefits in core strength, communication, and social skills.

You can choose to have your child ride for June or July or both. You can also request for your child to ride up to 2 times per week if space is available. You will receive a form with lesson times for you to indicate your availability. You MUST complete and return this form for your summer registration to be final.

$240 for 8 Weeks

Fun on the Farm

Let our horses lend you a helping hoof with your child’s summer activities. Through a variety of interactions, we’ll discover the farm from our herd’s point of view. Activities such as nature hikes, horse handling, crafts, and riding lessons will teach students leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills… and they’ll have so much fun they won’t even know they are learning!

Participants will receive 2 riding lessons during their skill week. At Fun on the Farm with a Sibling, your child can participate with one of their sibling(s) between the age of 6 and 18 years old.

$350 Per Week $550 for Fun on the Farm with Siblings

Interactive Vaulting

Saddle Up!’s Interactive Vaulting program is an equine-assisted activity where participants perform movements on and around the horse while the horse is being lunged on a circle. During a lesson, our PATH International Certified Vaulting Instructor directs vaulters to interact with each other and their horse in many different ways in order to foster teamwork, teach respect for the horse, foster independence, build confidence, and encourage social interaction.
